Maxis To Provide EVC 5G Solutions To Accelerate eMobility Solutions

KUALA LUMPUR – 22 Nov 2023 – EV Connection Sdn Bhd (EVC), operator of the JomCharge charging network, will be collaborating with Maxis to accelerate the adoption of e-mobility solutions. Under the collaboration, Maxis will be providing its 4G and 5G network connectivity solutions to EVC to support the eMobility needs of their electric vehicle (EV) assets and infrastructure. Maxis will also explore innovative digital solutions to accelerate the application of new technologies within the EV ecosystem.

To kick off the collaboration, a document exchange ceremony was held in conjunction with the E-Mobility Asia (EMA) 2023 exhibition, with Maxis inking Memorandums of Understanding (MoU) with EVC and also Blueshark, a leading smart scooter provider. The ceremony was witnessed by YB Senator Tengku Datuk Seri Utama Zafrul Tengku Abdul Aziz, Minister of Investment, Trade & Industry, Malaysia.
